Aishwarya in his current capacity manages Investment Finance Portfolio and Fixed Income and Structured Products proposition for the Global Indian Business of International Personal Bank at Citibank Singapore. He is responsible for ensuring high quality asset incorporation into the bank's lending portfolio while keeping into account the core profitability of the product proposition. He also looks at meeting client needs for graduating to higher return products through various fixed income and derivatives investment solutions.
Being an Offshore Wealth Product Manager, his engagement spans across geographies and various stakeholders including Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal as well as Operations & Technology. The fundamental principle driving his role is making banking products easier to adopt and available to a wider set of individuals through remarkable experiences at every step of his engagement. He is also a Level 1 trainer for Structured Products with the bank.
During his initial five years with Citi, Aishwarya has worked in three distinct markets in India, covering credit card risk and operations and share finance portfolio. In his role as Credit Card Fraud Risk manager, he was responsible for maintaining the losses at an acceptable level while enhancing the client experience, as part of which he brought in various performance metrics for the team to benchmark itself.
Aishwarya started his banking career with Citi as a Management Associate post his graduation from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode in 2007. He obtained his Industrial Engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in 2004.
