Rahni SvenningsenRegional Director for Product Credit Card & Personal Lending, Asia Pacific
Rahni joined ANZ regional office in Manila in 2007 as Asia Retail Risk Manager, and eventually moved to Singapore as Private Bank Credit Risk Manager. Since 2010, she joined regional Credit Card & Personal Lending as Product lead.
Prior to that, she worked with Metrobank Card Corporation (MCC), a partnership between ANZ and Metrobank in the Philippines, as Credit Risk Policy & Analytics AVP responsible for credit policy development and managed a team of risk analysts for both portfolio and risk management. Whilst in MCC, she had been assigned to several ANZ businesses in Asia to set up ANZ retail partnerships in Vietnam and Cambodia
With 16 years experience in Retail and Private Bank, Rahni has handled both Unsecured (Credit card, Personal loan and Merchant Acquiring) and Secured (Dual-currency Mortgage (DCM), Auto loan and Cash-secured) products. She directly managed retail credit in both mature and developing markets in Asia i.e. Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, and with strong familiarity of Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan (DCM) and Cambodia markets. With high risk management and data analytics background, Rahni brings a suitable mix of business and risk perspective to achieve appropriate level of risk return.
Before joining ANZ, Rahni worked in various financial institutions as Credit Risk Manager developing credit policies, generating and analyzing data and portfolio using SAS and project lead to implement strategy manager in Citibank. She also led several scorecard model development, implementation and monitoring including Application, Behaviour, Collections and Risk-Revenue scorecards.
